C/ JACINTO VERDAGUER 38D. 08213. POLINYÀ, BARCELONA. 2022

C/ Jacinto Verdaguer, 38 D. Polinyà, Barcelona, 08213 is a personal photography project that displays the author’s hidden childhood stories in contrast with family album photographs. The work is objectified in a book that presents, in parallel, images of family archives and fragments of the story that really happened while those photographs were taken, erasing the parts of the narrative that cannot be seen to give it a new meaning through this concealment process.

16 no.bodies, 2022

16no.bodies is a project that has emerged from a personal concern articulated around a social problem that persists in time and goes back a long way back in history , which is the violence exerted on the feminine body through images. Starting from advertisement to art, passing through cinema and television, the feminine body is constantly being subjected to the construction of imaginaries and iconographies

Materialised in form of a webpage where bodies can be found in auction, this thesis suggests, in a literal manner, the relationship between the objectification of bodies by means of images and the creation of beauty standards as a mechanism to exert violence on the feminine body. Understanding the bodies as objects for consumption in this context
